Motor Oztul Warehouse Offices

Refined from the rough styles of an industrial age.

Moto Oztul Fit-out Project (2008) 38 Business St, Yatala.

Primarily needing to offer access to all, a practical free-spanning design considering disability compliancy was the priority while still remaining genuine to the spirit of the tenant. So this a modern take on the warehouse stair was created, loads of steel, heavy timber treads, perforated risers and simplistic rod balustrade… industrial feel with modern low maintenance benefits.

Still, the stairs are not the show-stoppers here, they were never meant to be, but they still manage an admirable job of filling the support role.

Stringer Construction: Powdercoated Precious Silver Pearl combination of commercial grade 12mm and 20mm plate steel visual stringers (PS1)

Treads: Pre-finished select grade 45mm Kwila treads with applied nosings and rebated 50mm Latham 493S “Sparkling Black” non-slip nosing strips. Powdercoated 2mm zinc anneal sheet metal perforated risers.

Balustrade: 50mm SHS satin stainless stanchions drilled to suit 12mm stainless steel rods, and Continuous 38.1mm CHS stainless steel handrail.
